As the sight of cruise ships bobbing in Hog Sty Bay, and the steady stream of aircraft full of holidaymakers touching down at Owen Roberts Airport, rapidly recede into distant memory, it would be tempting to think that life in the Cayman Islands has been on pause for much of the past two years.
