Walkers is pleased to announce that Cayman Islands partner, Colette Wilkins QC, will be relocating to the firm's Hong Kong office to lead its Asia litigation practice from January 2022.

Specialising in high value financial services related litigation, asset recovery and contentious insolvency, Colette will continue to focus on Cayman Islands law from Walkers' Hong Kong office. She is recognised as eminent in her field by all major independent legal directories including Chambers Global (Band 1), Legal 500 (Tier 1) and Who's Who Legal (Global Elite Thought Leader) and has twice been named 'Cayman Islands Attorney of the Year' by the Recovery and Insolvency Specialists Association. Recent directory comments describe Colette as, 'Among the world’s top restructuring and insolvency minds, with peers across the globe recommending her as “an exceptional lawyer” and “a wonderful advocate with a dedicated client following" and “the creme de la creme of the Cayman Islands when it comes to asset recovery.”

Walkers' Hong Kong Managing Partner, Andy Randall comments, "This is an exciting and incredibly busy time for the litigation teams in Hong Kong and Singapore and this move underscores our ongoing commitment to clients in the region. We are delighted that Colette will be joining us; her extensive expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow our insolvency and dispute resolution offering."
