Walkers BVI advises on major acquisition for AEA Investors LP

Walkers is pleased to have acted as British Virgin Islands counsel to US private equity firm AEA Investors LP on its acquisition of the Burke Porter Group from CEL Global Investment Fund, L.P. The acquisition, which was implemented by way of a BVI statutory merger, represents a further significant transaction for Walkers' leading M&A practice in the BVI.

AEA Investors LP is a global private equity firm with more than US$17 billion in assets under management and the Burke Porter Group is a global provider of automated diagnostic, testing and production solutions serving life science and specialty industrial end markets.
