He brings institutional experience to the private capital context, particularly in relation to family investment companies, fund structures and investment vehicles, whether stand-alone or within more developed single family office structures. He also works with multi-family offices and supports investment managers who cater to UHNW investors. He has extensive experience with the procurement of, and adherence to, the relevant licensing requirements of family and business structures which seek to operate, whether locally in the Cayman Islands, or remotely from the Cayman Islands, and regularly interfaces with the relevant regulators in this regard.
Scott advises on a broad range of corporate matters, including downstream acquisitions and divestments, exits, joint ventures and corporate reorganisations. He advises a broad range of clients from family offices, entrepreneurs, start-up managers to some of the world's largest investment firms.
