Linval Stewart joined Walkers Fiduciary Limited in November 2022 where he acts as a director on SPVs involved in asset and structured finance transactions.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Linval worked at another major fiduciary firm in the Cayman Islands for over four years. He has experience in a wide range of structured finance transactions including securitisations, CLOs, notes programmes and debt programmes. He has also worked on numerous lease/finance transactions involving single and multi-aircraft assets. Currently, Linval specialises in aircraft and other asset finance transactions and works with major financial institutions, export credit agencies, leasing companies, manufacturers and operators. He is also a member of the share trustee practice where he specialises in various charitable, liquidating and STAR trust structures.
Qualifications
Education:
- Chartered Accountant (ACCA)
- Accredited Director (Acc. Dir.) designation granted by the Chartered Governance Institute of Canada.
Linval is a member of the Cayman Islands Society of Professional Accountants as well as Cayman Islands Directorship Association.
