Nick leads our employment practice in Bermuda and brings more than 17 years of experience advising on the full spectrum of employment issues. He is a trusted advisor to in-house lawyers, HR teams and C-Suite leaders. His expertise traverses the complete employment spectrum, with a particular focus on senior-level exits, reorganisations and complex grievances, including sensitive matters involving discrimination and whistleblowing. He is also highly experienced in dealing with internal investigations and high-profile employment litigation where reputational stakes are high.
Nick is known for his calm and commercial approach. He focuses on clear, solution-led advice and building strong working relationships. Clients describe him as ‘an absolute pleasure to work with’ and praise his ‘calm and considered advice’ and ‘comprehensive solutions’ that meet their needs.

Before joining Walkers, Nick was a partner and Head of Employment at Shoosmiths LLP in Birmingham in the UK, where he was consistently recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners UK. He holds an LLB from the College of Law in Birmingham and a First Class BA in International History and International Politics from Keele University.
We have advised on a wide range of workplace matters in Bermuda for many years; Nick’s appointment reflects the firm’s commitment to deepening this capability.
