We were pleased to have acted as Cayman Islands legal counsel to Marathon Asset Management on bringing their MAST 2026-1 aviation asset backed securitisation to market.
MAST 2026-1 Limited and MAST 2026-1 LLC issued US$615,180,000 in Series A and Series B Notes due 2051, the proceeds of which will be used to acquire a portfolio of 27 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, currently leased to 18 lessees in 15 different countries. The aircraft will be serviced by ORIX Aviation Services Limited as servicer and Airborne Capital Limited and Arena Aviation Capital as sub-servicers.
