We have acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Stitch Ltd. in connection with its US$25m Series A financing led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z).
Stitch, a Riyadh-headquartered fintech company, provides an AI-native operating system for financial institutions globally. The transaction marks a16z’s first direct investment in the GCC and represents an important milestone for Stitch as it continues to scale its platform and expand its regional and international footprint.
Our Dubai-based team, led by partner
Reghard Smith and associate
Danielle Meyer, advised on all Cayman Islands aspects of the transaction.
Commenting on the deal, Reghard Smith said: 'Congratulations to Stitch on this successful funding round. Marking Andreessen Horowitz’s (a16z) first direct investment in the Gulf, the transaction further reinforces sustained global investor confidence in the region’s high-growth fintech sector.'
