Strengthening our Jersey team with three new hires

We have expanded our Jersey team with the appointment of three new lawyers across our Private Capital & Trusts, Banking & Finance and Investment Funds & Corporate groups. Over the past 12 months, we have welcomed 20 new hires in Jersey, reflecting the continued growth of the office and strong client demand across its key practice areas.
 
Senior associate Bonnie McPartland has joined our Private Capital & Trusts team. She advises on a broad range of offshore trust and private wealth matters and has more than ten years’ experience in offshore law. She has extensive experience advising clients across the full lifecycle of trust structures, including complex and multi-jurisdictional matters, and acts for trustees, ultra-high net worth individuals, families and family offices.
 
Associate Alex Crockart has joined our Banking & Finance team. He advises borrowers and lenders on a wide range of financing transactions, including real estate finance, fund finance and acquisition finance. Prior to joining Walkers, he trained at another Jersey firm where he advised on banking and finance, corporate and trust matters.
 
Associate Tom Frost has joined our Investment Funds & Corporate group. He advises on a broad range of funds and corporate law matters, with experience spanning private funds, hedge funds, structured finance and derivatives. Before joining Walkers, he trained and qualified at an international law firm in London.
