Sam specialises in complex corporate transactions, with a focus on cross-border public and private M&A, take-privates, SPAC and de-SPAC transactions, IPOs, redomiciliations and international corporate reorganisations.
He also has particular experience advising institutional asset managers on private capital transactions, investment fund structures, downstream private equity investments and capital raisings, as well as advising clients in the fintech sector.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Sam worked in the Corporate group of DLA Piper, where he focused on private equity, mergers and acquisitions and global reorganisations. In this role, he gained experience in acting for private equity houses on complex, cross-border downstream transactions as well as large conglomerates on their global corporate restructurings.
Sam also previously worked for Dickson Minto where he focused on capital markets, IPOs and general public and private M&A.
