Elaine is an associate in Walkers’ Guernsey Private Capital & Trusts group, advising clients on a broad range of offshore trust and private wealth matters.

She advises private clients, trust companies and family offices on the formation, administration and restructuring of trusts and foundations. She also advises on wills and estate administration.

Elaine is conversant in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay, conversational Hokkien.

Experience and recent work

Before joining Walkers in 2026, Elaine had over 10 years' experience in the insurance sector, including Asia Regional Head of Legal and Compliance for a global trade credit insurer and expertise in managing cyber, professional indemnity and D&O claims. Elaine was most recently the Head of Risk and Compliance for Guernsey's leading insurance manager.

Elaine commenced her career advising on private client and tax matters, litigating and instructing counsel in white collar crime and commercial disputes.
