Callum Wright is a senior counsel in the Regulatory & Risk Advisory Group.
He acts for major financial institutions on a range of regulatory matters, including FATCA and the Common Reporting Standard, economic substance, beneficial ownership, insurance, virtual assets, data protection, and anti-money laundering and sanctions.
Callum joined Walkers' Cayman Islands office in 2022, bringing over six years' post-qualification experience as a specialist financial services regulatory lawyer in the City of London.

Experience and recent work
Callum previously worked for five years as a solicitor in the Financial Services Regulatory team at the London office of Kirkland & Ellis. Prior to that, he worked as a trainee and then solicitor at DLA Piper, also in London.
Callum has also spent time on secondment in a leading London-based private equity fund manager and in a large international bank.
