Tim is a partner in the firm's Singapore office where he specialises in corporate work with an emphasis on M&A, private equity, joint ventures and investment funds. Tim advises investment managers, investment banks, private equity funds and corporates on private equity investment, fund formation and general corporate matters.Tim has significant multi-jurisdictional experience across Asia (including Indonesia, Vietnam, Myanmar and the PRC), Sub-Saharan Africa, Russia and Europe.
Prior to joining Walkers, Tim was a senior associate in the corporate team at Linklaters in Singapore where he specialised in cross-border public/private M&A, disposals, private equity, joint ventures and corporate advisory work. During his time at Linklaters, he was seconded to the principal finance team at Standard Chartered Bank for six months. Timothy completed his professional training in London with Berwin Leighton Paisner and then worked in that firm's London and Moscow offices prior to relocating to Singapore.
