We acted as Cayman Islands counsel to ProKidney (Nasdaq: PROK) on its domestication from the Cayman Islands to the U.S. State of Delaware.
The domestication was approved by ProKidney's shareholders at its Annual General Meeting held on 29 May 2025 and was effective on 1 July 2025. The move to Delaware comes after ProKidney's initial business combination back in 2022, that Walkers also advised on, merging ProKidney LP with and into Social Capital Suvretta Holdings Corp. III (as it was formally known and now ProKidney Corp.), a publicly traded company.

This transaction demonstrated the expertise of the Walkers Corporate team in advising on cross-border and local law matters given the local operations of ProKidney in the Cayman Islands prior to the domestication.
