Our Cayman Islands office acted as legal counsel to Pipe Foundation (the "Foundation") in connection with the Foundation's role in the go-live of the Pipe Network mainnet on 8 October 2025, as well as the TGE and official listing on Binance Alpha of the Pipe Network native token, $PIPE.
The Pipe Network introduces a decentralised content delivery network and storage protocol built on the Solana blockchain, which seeks to provide a faster and more secure alternative to traditional centralised services through a robust network of community-run nodes for content delivery.
Our dedicated Cayman Islands Fintech team for this project was led by partner
Melissa Lim and associates
Olivia Fielding and
Dwight Williams. Specialist advice was provided by our Cayman Islands Risk and Regulatory Advisory partner
Ian Mason and associate
Efe Avan-Nomayo, with further cross-jurisdictional support from British Virgin Islands partners
Alex Drysdale and
Iona Wright and senior associate
Alfida Cruz.
We acted alongside Fenwick & West LLP who provided US legal counsel to the Foundation.
