Aqilah Fuad is a paralegal in the Corporate and Investment Funds Group in Walkers' Singapore office.
She works on a broad range of investment funds, private equity, corporate and finance transactions, as well as general corporate and commercial matters.
Experience and recent work
Prior to joining Walkers, Aqilah worked in-house at Hartree Partners, where she assisted the APAC legal team on a broad range of corporate, finance and commercial transactions across multiple jurisdictions. The team relied on her for the review, negotiation and management of key agreements such as ISDA Master Agreements, MSPAs, GTCs, NDAs and service contracts, as well as for support on corporate governance and compliance matters.
Before that, Aqilah worked at Allen & Gledhill LLP, where she supported the firm’s knowledge management function. She assisted in maintaining internal legal databases, monitoring regulatory developments as well as drafting client publications and knowledge updates.
Aqilah began her legal career at Wayne Ong Law Practice, where she gained experience in both litigation and corporate matters. She has also completed internships at Actus Legal LLP and Regent Law LLC, supporting on legal research, drafting and general case management.
