Humzah specialises in fund finance and advises lenders, sponsors and investment funds on Cayman Islands financing transactions.
He works with banks, alternative lenders, private credit providers, fund managers, sponsors and institutional investors on a broad range of financing matters, including:

- Hybrid facilities
- GP financing
- Secondaries financing
Humzah takes a commercial approach to transactions and regularly works with deal teams across multiple jurisdictions on complex cross-border financing matters.
Experience and recent work
Before joining Walkers, Humzah advised on real estate finance and general corporate finance transactions at a London City firm while also running his own notary public practice.
He trained at Sullivan & Worcester LLP's tier 1 trade finance practice in London and was seconded to the in-house legal team with Emirates NBD in London.
