Adam leads our Finance Group in Bermuda and advises clients on a wide range of finance transactions involving Bermuda companies and partnerships.
He regularly advises asset managers, public and private companies, and financial institutions on various transactions including:
Adam also has experience of equity capital raises (including preference share financings) and of forming and maintaining investment funds, including private equity, real estate, infrastructure and hedge funds.
- Insurance-based financing (including lending to insurance-focused funds, regulatory capital raises and loans to collateralised reinsurance structures)
- Fund finance
- Note and bond issuances
- Securitisations and collateralised loan obligations
- Leveraged and acquisition finance

Adam is wonderful to work with. He's senior, yet still involved day to day. He's sufficiently hands-on that he knows everything that's going on, but he also lets his team run with things.

Experience and recent work
Adam relocated to Bermuda in 2018. Before that he spent almost eight years in the Cayman Islands working at two leading international offshore firms. Previous to this, he was with Clifford Chance, initially in London and later in Munich. This is where he started his career, focusing on leveraged and acquisition finance, and financial restructuring.
