45 senior lawyer promotions made across our global offices
We’re pleased to announce our latest promotions across our legal and business services teams, taking effect from 1 July 2026*.
The round reflects the firm's long-term investment in its people and a continued commitment to developing talent at every level. This comes as we continue to strengthen our global reach to better support clients across our six jurisdictions of law.
The firm welcomes 14 lawyers to the partnership, alongside 31 new senior counsel. A further 14 promotions span the firm's legal services teams, with 53 across business services, bringing the total to 112 people promoted at all levels across our global offices and across the firm's three main regions.

The newly promoted partners span a broad range of the firm's core practice areas. The Investment Funds and Corporate teams welcome four new partners, while Insolvency & Dispute Resolution and Regulatory & Risk Advisory strengthen their bench with three apiece. The firm's Private Capital & Trusts practice gains two new partners, with further appointments across Insurance and Employment.
Further promotions across Walkers Professional Services (WPS) will be announced later this month.
